Testimonials

Bernard Stillwell Architects -

In 2001 Neil Burke Joinery Ltd were appointed sub contractors to Durkan Pudelek for the supply and installation of a substantial package of joinery works on a large projext in Westminster, which involved the conversion of two Grade II listed buildings for use as bespoke offices.

The joinery package covered works that ranged from the faithful replacement of original painted timber sash and casement windows to purpose designed fitted furniture in clear finished American Cherry. Throughout the project Neil Burke and his staff performed their duties with professionalism and competence and supplied and installed work of a consistently high standard. They were co-operative and polite at all times, on and off site and made a positive contribution to the process of finalising detailed design and the sourcing of the correct timbers and veneers for the job.

The client is delighted with the project, of which the joinery works are an integral part.

We would be very happy to work with Neil Burke Joinery on future projects and have no hesitation in recommending them to others for similar works.

Yours Sincerely

Bernard Stilwell

LAWRAY Chartered Architects & Project Managers -

Neil Burke Joinery Ltd has successfully provided our clients with bespoke joinery and cabinetry in recent design projects undertaken by our office. Lately, two projects have been carried out in private houses situated in Kensington Palace Gardens, London and both were associated with The Crown Estate.

The most recent works included a feature staircase fabricated in solid American Walnut incorporating a structural glass balustrade. We were particularly impressed with NBJ's proficiency setting out the complex geometry of the stair at their premises and with the quality of NBJ's finishing and attention to detail.

We would gladly work with Neil Burke Joinery again in future projects.

Your Faithfully

Nick Marsh

Lord & Lady Sainsbury of Turville -

With reference to Neil Burke Joinery Limited, we have been associated with them since development of our Office Suite in Westminster in 2000-2001.

All of the Interior Joinery was bespoke to our requirements in Solid American Cherry.

This was a very sensitive project, especially considering the local environment but we found this company to be the most helpful and considerate towards the conditions put before them.

We have no hesitation in recommending Neil Burke Joinery Limited for any future projects of such a high standard.

King Regards

MRDA -

I was so pleased to hear that you were able to attend the Junior School Concert in the Temple Speech Room on 22nd June 2003. I was also delighted to learn that the Headmaster and his colleagues are pleased with the extension to the balcony. It appears that the school has absorbed the additional seating area without hesitation - as though it had been there all the time!

It was a great pleasure to work with you and your colleagues to help Rugby School realize the 'grand vision' for the Temple Speech Room. The new joinery complements the original finishes in design and quality. Your assistance in resolving the new challenges which were revealed as the work progressed were much appreciated.

I should also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your work in connection with the new memorial panel at St Marylebone Parish Church. The redecoration works are now completed and the nave is looking beautiful.

I hope that we will have the pleasure of working with you again in the near future.

Your sincerely

Margaret Davies

Rugby School -

In recent years Neil Burke Joinery Limited has carried out a variety of contracts for the School.

The projects undertaken have varied in content and have included both supply only and supply and fix.

The most significant projects undertaken for the School during the last two years have been the supply and installation of hardwood joinery for the Science Schools and the Temple Speech Room. Neil Burke Joinery have supplied bespoke benching and fittings for the Science School accommodation and have modified the balcony area within the Temple Speech Room, a listed building.

Their continued use by the School reflects the quality of workmanship provided and quality of site management necessary to meet what have been at times, tight programme deadlines.

Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the writer.

Yours faithfully
